After nearly two years of research and development, Omron OMRON recently launched a blood pressure watch called HeartGuide, which integrates a miniature piezoelectric pump and air bag inside the watch, which can complete blood pressure tests that are usually done by large equipment in hospitals. The HeartGuide watch uploads the monitoring data to the HeartAdvisor application, and all historical records are automatically generated as PDF files to share with the doctor, and can also be transferred to the Apple Health Records database in iOS. Omron also said that the application will be connected to other health data platforms such as Samsung and Google in the future. HeartGuide can also make plans through the app to read blood pressure data regularly while you sleep, and eliminate false alarms of high blood pressure caused by emotional stress.
